Statistical Programming
Request a ConsultationStatistical Programming in Biometrics
Statistical Programming is a key link of the Biometrics function, as programmers are responsible for taking over the data from the clinical data management teams and converting into various formats including Tables, Listings or Figures and in specific Standards that need to be met for submissions of the dossier to the regulatory authorities. Statistical programmers also work closely with the biostatistics group in delivering requests around the presentation of the data.
The most prominent language in the Life Sciences industry is SAS, and a lot of the pharmaceutical and biotech companies use it as the main language that the teams are working on for the clinical trial efforts. However, teams are also often using R, Python and other languages.

Grow Your Statistical Programming Team
Clements Partners has been successful in assembling entire statistical programming teams for biotech and pharmaceutical companies, working in both SAS and R.
The teams require a mixture of different skillsets, both technical and project statistical programmers, who are responsible for creating the infrastructure and delivering on the studies for the company. Often, it is also key that the programmers that we identify have relevant previous experience in a specific therapeutical area trial (i.e. working in Oncology trials).
